Relationships.

I have been doing a lot with friends and family lately. I moved to Utah and I'm closer to my extended family and I even am getting to know some of my family better, that I hadn't really gotten to see much when I was growing up. Being far away from my mom is hard for me sometimes though, I can't just go over to her house and talk to her, I have to wait to talk, until we are on the phone at some point.

I love the new friends I'm making here in Provo though, and I am excited to strengthen my relationships with old friends whom I may have neglected for a little while, while I figured my own thing out. Either way, I am excited for this new chapter of my life. I am going to be watching some extra children everyday and Lucas is going to interact with lots of other people. It'll be great for all of us.

We had a Google Plus hang out with my immediate family tonight, that was really fun. I have missed all of the laughs that we have when we have get-togethers. I also had a bachelorette party that I threw for my friend who is getting married (last night) and I am her matron of honor. I also got to spend some time with a new friend and then later an old friend and I went to the park to feed the ducks. Here are some fun pictures...

I need to have relationships to be happy, I suppose. It is really good for me to be around other people and feel their good energy and just have fun with them. I figured I'd add a picture of Lucas and his buddy Breken at the park. Lucas loves making new friends. He will even talk to everyone around him. We were at the mall the other day and he was playing on the little toddler play area, and just talking away to the kids around, and they were pointing to stuff and talking to each other. I love that he has gained that trait! Relationships are so important, I think to know how to be a good person. If you have a good relationship with your parents when you are young, you will be more likely to keep that good relationship when you grow up.

Thank you for reading my short thoughts on relationships. Have a wonderful Sunday!
