Recipe of the Week - Turkey Soup, light and perfect for September

We had a boneless turkey roast in the freezer and I decided that we needed to eat it. So we put it in the crock pot. Frozen. It turned out really wonderful and delicious. Here is the recipe, if on the off chance you would like to copy it :D

Ingredients:
Large turkey roast, boneless
a 1-pound bag of baby carrots
1/2 a small bag of frozen green beans
7 medium potatoes, halved & washed
1 - 10 oz. can of Cream of Chicken Soup
10 oz. of 2% milk
Water (about 6 cups?)
Iodized Salt, to taste
1/2 tbs. Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tbs. Garlic Powder
1/2 tbs. Onion Powder
1/2 tbs. Italian Seasoning

Directions:
Place ingredients into crock pot, fill the crock pot with water until everything is covered and turn it to low for 8 hours. After it is thoroughly cooked, take the meat out and cut off the netting. Put the Turkey back into the soup. Stir and serve. You may want to cut the potatoes up a little, but I liked them big.

Enjoy with a glass of Milk :D
Thank you for reading!
