Ingredients:
1 lb. Stewing Beef, browned
1/2 tbs. Garlic Powder
1/2 tbs. Onion Powder
1 whole small Onion, chopped
3 Large Carrots, chopped
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/2 small head cabbage, chopped
28 oz. can diced tomatoes (including the water from the can)
Cheesy Jambalaya Hamburger Helper (just the seasoning packet)
10 oz can tomato soup
20 oz. water
Directions:
In a large pot, brown stewing beef and season with garlic and onion powder. Add onion and let it brown. Add carrots, celery, cabbage, and tomatoes. Cook down for about 5 minutes. Add Jambalaya seasoning packet and stir until mixed. Add soup and water and stir. Let boil and allow it to simmer on low for at least 30 minutes. Don't cook too long, the veggies should be just a little crunchy, especially the cabbage. I loved this stew! And so did my husband. Enjoy!
